On this most beautiful feast day of the Nativity of our Blessed Mother, we are blessed to have the Relics of our Carmelite Saint and Sister, St. Therese of the Child Jesus, the Little Flower of Lisieux in our General Motherhouse Chapel.
The whole community together with some friends and regular Massgoers welcome St. Therese in the late afternoon of September 8 and stayed overnight.Holy Masses in various languages were offered followed by the blessings of Roses to be distributed to all. A short conference was presented short after.
An overnight vigil was held and after midnight, exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament until it was time for Morning Prayer.
Holy Masses in Deutsch and Dutch followed before the organizers carried the reliquary containing St. Therese’s remain to the scheduled German pilgrim from September 8 onwards as part of the pilgrim trip in various countries.
Our sincerest gratitude to God for this blessed gift on the Most Holy Jubilee Year of Hope as we commemorate St. Therese’s centenary of canonization.
In the Heart of the Church, I will be LOVE.
