A Stay in the Convent
As Guest in the Convent
You can participate in our retreats, or you can stay with us for one or more days as a guest, for example, as part of a pilgrimage (Santiago, the Pieterpad, etc.) or to find silence and/or spend days relaxing/retreating.
You are welcome to participate in the liturgical celebrations of the monastic community.
There is a small library in the Elijah Hall, where books are available.
You also have the opportunity to visit the museum dedicated to the founder of our Carmelite monastery, which is located in our building.
Rooms
There are 27 bedrooms in the Retreat House
- 12 double occupancy with shower and toilet
- 12 single occupancy with shower and toilet
- 3 single occupancy with toilet (shower in the hallway)
Diese Zimmer sind auf drei Etagen verteilt und mit stabilen Betten und Bettdecken ausgestattet.
Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein großer Esssaal für 40 bis 60 Personen.
Also on the lower level is a handicap accesible bedroom. The whole retreat house, the large chapel and the garden are wheelchair accessible.
On the second floor there is a tea kitchen for individual visitors.
Free WiFi is available.
In the back of the building – by the garden- is a free parking place for guests.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house.
The retreat house has two chapels: a large chapel and on the first floor a small chapel for about 20 people. The grave of Bl. Mother Maria Teresa Tauscher, the Foundress of the Carmel of the Divine Heart of Jesus, is in the large chapel.

Prices may be adjusted annually on January 1st and/or July 1st.
A la carte
If you do not want to take the full service ticket, then you can order individually:
- Overnight stay: €57
- Overnight stay per person, 2 persons in one room: €52
- Breakfast: 7:00 – 8:45 am (or by arrangement): €12
- Hot lunch (12:30 pm): €19
- Dinner: 6:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday: 5:30 PM: €12
- Packed lunch: €12
Prices may be adjusted annually on January 1st and/or July 1st.
For cancellations less than three weeks before the booked date, we are unfortunately forced to charge 25 euros.
The above prices already include tourist tax, bed linen and towels.

We have three large rooms available for conferences.
- The “Teresasaal” (45 Persons, groundfloor)
- The “Eliasaal” (15 Persons, 1st floor) with a small library
- The “Karmelsaal” (20 Persons, 3rd Floor)
